Comhlámh Code of Good Practice

Code of Good Practice for Sending Organisations has been developed by the Comhlámh Volunteering Options working group. This sets out the responsibilities of Irish-based organisations that arrange volunteer placements. Music Harvest is a signatory to this Code.

By signing up to the Comhlámh Code of Good Practice Music Harvest shows that it supports its messages.

Comhlámh Volunteer Charter

Comhlámh have also developed a Volunteer Charter that sets out seven principles that aim to encourage responsible, responsive international volunteering.

All international Music Harvest volunteers are required to sign up to the Volunteer Charter to confirm that they are committed to these principles.

For more information on Comhlámh and volunteering overseas, please visit the Comhlámh website. If Music Harvest doesn’t seem to fit exactly with what you’re looking for, or you don’t have the exact skill set we’re looking for, then Comhlámh have a database of volunteer placements available from the website above that may provide you with other more suitable opportunites.
