Music Harvest is always looking for energetic, self-motivated and enthusiastic individuals with a knowledge of music to come and volunteer with us in Nablus. Volunteers work on our programme all year round, and it is a wonderful opportunity for a rewarding cultural, linguistic and musical exchange.
2. Musical Instrument Donation
The next thing to do is to go for a rummage through your attic/garage/shed again and rediscover that abandoned instrument that hasn’t been used for years. We’ll find a home for it and put it to good use – normally they serve as practice instruments for our students or can be used by volunteers who arrive unable to bring their own instrument with them.
3. Financial Donation
And finally, if you cannot volunteer time to come out and volunteer with us or donate an instrument then we encourage you to make a financial contribution towards our work.
Music Harvest sustains its programme on a modest budget of €19,000 a year. Each year, this sum maintains a music programme that teaches music to over 400 children around Nablus, organises over 20 concerts, and receives almost 50 international volunteers.
